Never show fools and children unfinished work.

In class, we are making brooches out of random found objects. Here's mine halfway through completion. That's a plastic goldfish tail, a river rock, and a glass piece from a bottle. The weird, chair-like thing in the middle is the part I made, and what ties them all together into a brooch.

It's totally weird and goofy and fun and unlike anything
I've ever even considered making. Now I have to wear it
for a week and have pictures taken every day.

This is a pewter piece from the workshop. It needs a lot of clean-up, but it's getting there.
