The internet has been down, so I've been awash in
photos and ideas with no where to put them.

The garden is producing something absolutely delicious -
grape tomatoes! They are the best tomatoes I've ever tasted.



I (mostly) finished a sweater. It's my own pattern and I went a little crazy with waist shaping. It fits nicely though. It's mercerized cotton, and I'm expecting it will get soft as I wash it. As Jake is quick to point out, it does still need a bit of blocking and hemming.



Since one knitted project is never ever enough, here's another. It's a scarfy shawl called Springtime Bandit, which makes me love it immediately just for its name. I'm using a wool/silk blend, which I hope will block out nicely. We shall see.



Oh yes, and this insane piece of work....

Jake and I are building a bicycle.
Like, the whole thing, including the frame.

He's in charge of bicycle expertise and I'm in charge of metalwork. We're still in the planning-on-paper-stage (or rather, posting-on-bike-forums-stage) but I have high hopes. Also, it may be green. But that's a long time from now. Now it is this:
